Information we collect
We collect the information you choose to provide through our contact, proof-of-concept, and partner application forms.
- Your name, business email address, telephone number, role, and company details
- Information about your industry, camera estate, current systems, proposed use case, timeline, and project requirements
- Partner application details, including business size, operating markets, camera brands, installation volumes, and customer sectors
- Messages, correspondence, meeting notes, and other information you send to us
- Basic technical and security logs created when you use the website, such as IP address, request time, browser information, and requested pages
Why we use it
We use enquiry information to respond to you, assess technical and commercial fit, arrange demonstrations, prepare a proof of concept, and take steps you request before entering a contract.
We use limited technical logs to operate the website, prevent abuse, investigate errors, and protect our systems. These activities rely on our legitimate interests in running a secure business and responding to genuine enquiries. Where the law requires consent for a specific activity, we will ask for it separately.
Who receives it
We share personal information only with staff and service providers who need it for the purposes described here. Website hosting is provided by Vercel. Transactional form email is provided by Resend. We may also use professional advisers and approved technology providers when a project requires them.
We may disclose information when required by law, to protect legal rights, or as part of a business reorganisation. We do not sell personal information.
International transfers
Our work may involve teams or service providers outside the European Economic Area. When personal information is transferred internationally, we use an applicable legal transfer mechanism and limit access to what the recipient needs.
How long we keep it
We normally keep website enquiries and partner applications for up to 24 months after the last meaningful interaction. If an enquiry becomes a customer, supplier, or partner relationship, we keep the relevant records for the relationship and any additional period required by tax, accounting, contractual, or legal obligations.
Security and hosting logs are kept for shorter operational periods set by us or our service providers. We may retain a limited record where needed to respect an opt-out, resolve a dispute, or establish a legal claim.
Your rights
Depending on the law that applies, you may ask for access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or an objection to certain processing. You may withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Contact info@aeyetechlabs.com to make a request.
You may also complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission or the data protection authority where you live or work.
Cookies and external media
The website does not currently use advertising or behavioural analytics cookies. Essential storage may be used where the site needs it to function or protect a form.
The product video uses YouTube's privacy-enhanced embed and is loaded only after you choose to open it. When you do, YouTube may receive technical information under its own privacy terms. We will update this notice and any consent controls before adding non-essential analytics or tracking.
Security
We use technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, alteration, or disclosure. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so please avoid sending sensitive personal information or confidential camera footage through a general enquiry form.
Changes to this notice
We will update this page when our processing, providers, or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top shows when this version took effect.
